Overview

Commemorate what Franklin Roosevelt described as a “day of infamy” on this solemn, yet informative tour of Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. On this unique tour, you will fly as a group to the island of Oahu.

You will have the opportunity to reflect on live footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor at the Arizona Memorial Visitors Center. Cruise across the harbor to the location of the attack at the Arizona Memorial. The tour will take a more uplifting turn as you tour Central Honolulu with stops at the panoramic Nuuanu Pali Lookout. Finally tour “Mighty Mo” or the USS Missouri, the last battleship built by the U.S. Navy.

What's the plan:

Tour begins at Kahului Airport where you will be handed a boarding pass for your flight to the island of Oahu.

At Oahu, you will arrive at the Arizona Memorial Visitors Center where you will be shown a film that includes live footage of the devastating 1941 Pearl Harbor attack.

Then, ride a US Navy launch across the Harbor to the Arizona Memorial, the final resting place for many of the crew members who lost their lives by the Japanese attack.

From Pearl Harbor drive through the National Cemetery of the Pacific and downtown Honolulu.

Then view the Iolani Palace, the official residence of King Kalakaua and Queen Lili’uokalani, the only royal palace on American soil.

Drive past the Kawaiahao Church, the State Library and Archives, the famous statute of king Kamehameha, Honolulu Hale, the official seat of government in the city, and the Mission Houses Museum, the oldest wood house in Hawaii.

Then move to Nuuanu Pali Lookout and snap photos of the sprawling Koolau Mountains and Windward Oahu.

Once you return to Pearl Harbor, board the USS Missouri for a guided tour of the last battleship built by the US Navy. It served from World War II through Desert Storm. Look for the plaque on the wooden deck marking the spot where the armistice ending WWII was signed.

The tour will conclude with your flying back from Oahu to Kahului Airport.

Until further notice, guests will not be able to visit the Arizona Memorial.
