You will meet your English speaking photographer-cum-guide at 1555 N. Astor.
• From the Chicago River, pass the famous Marina Towers and many swing bridges spanning the river.
• Along the Chicago Loop, stop at the single-most-famous sculpture in Chicago, Pablo Picasso's Untitled, before seeing Cloud Gate and the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park.
• En route to Grant Park and past the Art Institute, you‘ll see an impressive great wall of buildings from Randolph Street south to Congress Parkway that architecture buffs refer to as the Michigan Avenue Cliff.
• Finally reach Grant Park modelled after the gardens at Versailles. Here, you can photograph giant lawns segmented by allées of trees, plantings, paths, and Buckingham fountain.
At the end of the session your photographer-guide will review some of the photos taken (if you are carrying a digital camera). You will have learnt the basics of composition, the importance of light in photography, how to take balanced and attractive images, and simple techniques to take "creative" images.
The tour concludes at the Buckingham Fountain.
