Itinerary

On this Hop-On Hop-Off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. With fifty five stops covering all of Istanbul’s main attractions such as Archeological Museum and Suleymaniye Mosque, this tour provides the perfect introduction to the city.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board one of the buses. Buses run from 1000h (10:00 am) to 1830h (6:30 pm) with a frequency of 60 minutes. Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops.

You can board the bus from any of the stops :

Hagia Sophia: Also known as Ayasofya or St Sophia, this is one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Famous for its great dome and glorious mosaics, it has a checkered history. Originally built as a church, it was later converted into a mosque and is now a museum.

Blue Mosque:The Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of Istanbul. It is very impressive with its beautiful domes and semidomes, beautiful courtyards and six slender minarets.

Underground Cistern: The Basilica Cistern is the largest & most famous underground Byzantine cistern in Istanbul.

Gulhane Park: It is the oldest and one of the largest public parks in Istanbul.

Archeological Museum:The museum consists of three sections: The main Archeology Museum, the Old Eastern Works Museum and the Enameled Kiosk Museum. It houses over one million objects that represent almost all of the eras and civilizations in world history.

Topkapi Palace: Topkapi Palace served as the residence of Ottoman sultans for about 400 years. It was turned into a museum in 1924 and has become one of the most attractive palace-museums in the world.

Port Of Bosphorus: Istanbul is the only city in the world built on two continents. It stands on the shores of the. uniquely beautiful Bosphorus Strait.

Galata Tower: Galata Tower was built by a Genoese colony in 1348 as a part of their fortifications.

Leander's Tower: This is a small and attractive tower built on an islet at the entrance to the Bosphorus.

Tophane: Tophane is located in Beyoglu,on the European side of Istanbul on the coast of Bosphorus. It was an industrial district of Istanbul in the Ottoman time. Tophane building was built by the order of Fatih Sultan Mehmet for canon production.

Kilic Ali Pasa Mosque: The Kiliç Ali Pasha Mosque is a striking structure located in Tophane. The interiors of the mosque are simply stunning.

Chamber of Shipping: The Istanbul and Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean and Black Sea Regions Chambers of Shipping are collectively called the Turkish Chamber of Shipping.

Academy of Fine Arts: The institution was founded on January 1, 1882 as the "School of Fine Arts" by the renowned Turkish painter Osman Hamdi Bey, who was also an art historian, archeologist and museum curator. The school was converted in 1928 to an academy, the first academy in Turkey, and its name was changed to "Academy of Fine Arts". In 1969, this was renamed to "Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts". On July 20, 1982, its status was changed, and the academy became "Mimar Sinan University" after the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan. Finally, in December 2003, the administration of the university changed its name to "Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts".

Dolmabahce Palace: The palace serves as a museum and a guest-house used for receptions for important foreign statesmen during their official visits.

Atatürk Olympic Stadium: Atatürk Olympic Stadium is located in the West of Istanbul, at the European side of the city.

Fatih Mosque The Fatih Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was one of the largest examples of Turkish-Islamic architecture in Istanbul and represented an important stage in the development of classic Turkish architecture.

Aqueduct of Valens: The Valens Aqueduct is a Roman aqueduct which was the major water-providing system of the Eastern Roman capital of Constantinople (modern Istanbul, Turkey). Completed by Roman Emperor Valens in the late 4th century AD, it was restored by several Ottoman Sultans, and is one of the most important landmarks of the city.

Bulgarian Church: This church belongs to the Bulgarian minority and is the most interesting church in Istanbul.

Balat-Ahrida Synagogue: This is the oldest and the most beautiful synagogue in Istanbul.

Jewish Hospital: Jewish Hospital, built in 1897. A 120-bed hospital attended mostly by Jewish physicians, it's located in the swath of parkland.

Justinian Palace: The cistern, built by emperor Justinian around 542, is also called the "Sunken Palace", which aptly reflects the magical atmosphere of this subterranean building.

Balikli Monastery: Located in Silivrikapi, Balikli Monastery is one of the sacred grounds for Byzantine Empire where the Royal Family used to spend a week during the time of Ascension.

Golden Gate: The Golden Gate was the imperial entrance gate of the Walls of Constantinople and the largest among the 55 gates around the city walls which protected Constantinople, present-day Istanbul.

Byzantium Harbour: The $4 billion tunnel project has uncovered a fourth-century harbor under the slums of Yenikapi, on the European side of Istanbul, and archaeologists excavating the area say it's a trove of relics dating back as far as Constantine the Great.

Doors to Byzantium: These doors, now used as the Holy Doors of the basilica, only open in Jubilee years, were commissioned by Pantaleone, consul of Amalfi in Constantinople, and were made by Teodoro in 1070.
