For your exciting White Water Rafting and Waterfall Visit from Phuket you will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned minivan at around 0745h (07:45am).
Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will head to Phang Nga province. Your first stop is at Wat Tham Suwan Khoo Har (Buddha Cave Temple) to view the 15 meter long Reclining Buddha image.
This incredible golden statue was once covered with layers of plaster to disguise it from invading armies. Later everybody forgot about the precious Buddha and it remained covered in its coating until one day the plaster was accidentally chipped, revealing the shining gold beneath. Pieces of the old plaster are now displayed next to the statue.
Next, you will proceed to the elephant camp where you will meet and greet the delightful elephants. You will enjoy an elephant trek through deep green jungle – a magical experience.
Lunch will then be served – a delicious spread of traditional Thai dishes, specially cooked so they are not too spicy.
After lunch you can talk a short walk to a cool refreshing waterfall. You may be tempted to have an invigorating swim in the clear waters.
Next on the agenda is a training session with a river guide to get you ready for the 5 kilometers (3 miles) rafting excursion.
Enjoy the special thrill of white-water rafting in the most beautiful surroundings imaginable. Watch out for wildlife on the banks as you plunge down the rapids and float over the pools.
At the end of the all-day adventure tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Phuket.
