At the City of Arts and Sciences, you can see some of the most exciting modern architecture in Spain, surrounded by attractive streams and pools of water.

The 3½ hour tour also includes the chance to nibble on savory Valencian tapas, including Iberian ham and aged cheese, at a traditional restaurant!

Your thrilling Valencia Bike Tour With Tapas adventure begins when you meet your English-speaking guide at Paseo de la Pechina, 32. For approximately 3½ hours, you’ll enjoy an easy and relaxing bicycle tour of Valencia.

After a brief session to get used to your bike, you’ll pedal to the lush Turia Gardens, the central axis of Valencia. This 5½ mile stretch of green is surrounded by ancient walls and buildings. It is built on the bed of the Turia River, which was formerly prone to flooding. After a particularly bad flood in 1957, the government diverted the river and turned the riverbed into a lush garden. You’ll see the Palau de la Musica and the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex that is the most important modern tourist destination in Valencia.

After marveling at the gardens, you’ll enjoy a snack at a traditional restaurant (included in your tour price). You can indulge in “tapas” – the Spanish version of the hors d’oeuvre – including mature cheeses, cured ham, Spanish omelet and a salad skewer!

Following your tapas, you’ll cycle back through the gardens and return to Paseo de la Pechina as the tour concludes. From there, you are free to make your own way back to your accommodation.
