Within the complex you will find the amazing L'Hemisferic, the biggest planetarium in Europe. The incredible ‘eye-shaped’ structure houses a splendid Laserium, Planetarium and IMAX cinema (with over 900 square meters of screen).
Another great attraction is the El Museo de la Ciencias Príncipe Felipe (the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum) which holds permanent and travelling thematic exhibitions related to the world of science and avant-garde technology.
Architecture buffs love the cutting-edge design of the Museum building, which is based on a dinosaur skeleton. Curious kids love what goes inside, where there are all sorts of hands-on experiences to bring science to life. Parents share the delight of the kids and are thrilled that learning can be so much fun!
For your Valencia – L’Hemisferic and Science Museum experience you should make your way to the entrance of the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum within the City of Arts and Sciences to change your voucher for the entrance ticket.
Inside the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences complex all kinds of thrills await you.
Your ticket includes entry to L'Hemisferic, an amazing ‘eye-shaped’ structure housing a splendid Laserium, Planetarium and IMAX cinema (with over 900 square meters of screen). The wide-angled projectors, lasers and superb audio-visual system make for an awe-inspiring and magical experience. See projectors turn the dome into a brilliant star-filled sky or enjoy a 3-D virtual voyage on the huge IMAX screen.
Your ticket also includes entry to the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. Before you enter the Museum, stop for a moment to admire its cutting edge architecture. Designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava, the elongated structure is inspired by a dinosaur skeleton. The stark white ‘bones’ of the building are beautifully off set by limpid light blue pools of water and the overall effect is breath-taking.
Inside the Museum all kinds of thrilling experiences await you on three separate floors. The lower level is given over to the ticket office, cafes and an information center. In the upper levels you find the displays and exhibits of the science museum including an interactive museum, an information center and a high technology exhibition center.
Through a range of workshops, activities and interactive panels, you can have fun discovering the principles of science and technology, and how they contribute to improving the quality of life.
The ticket is valid for the entire day so you can choose to come and go as you please. At the end of the day you must make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
