Overview

Kruger National Park is the chief destination for many international tourists in South Africa. As big as Wales, Kruger is South Africa’s largest game reserve and is home to a large variety of interesting wildlife. It has been designated by UNESCO as an International Man and Biosphere Reserve. It also supports a number of vegetation zones that includes a variety of plant species and tree species, so you can guess the beauty of the place that awaits you.

Explore this world-famous reserve in a safari vehicle, and catch a glimpse of the Big Five. In addition to this, you can be assured of seeing crocodiles, zebras, and giraffes. Savour every taste of the African cuisine served under the stars!

Spend a wonderful three days in this great reserve and learn more about Kruger Park's wild inhabitants.

Itinerary

Kruger National Park: Established in 1898, the Kruger National Park is one of the world’s oldest and greatest wildlife preservation areas. More than twice the size of Yellowstone National Park in the USA, Kruger Park is a paradise for the wildlife enthusiast.

Transfer from Johannesburg to spectacular Mpumalanga Via Machadodorp (unescorted). After freshening up at your safari lodge, enter the world famous Kruger National Park and spend the afternoon game viewing. Dinner under the stars in traditional African ‘Boma’ (weather permitting).

Return to the lodge in Kruger Park for dinner and overnight.

Note: Drinks are for guests own account.

Enjoy breakfast before you enter the Park for a full day safari (closed vehicle). Your guide will endeavour to spoil you with sightings of the “Big Five”, general game and prolific bird life. Stop at one of the rest camps for lunch (own account). Spend the rest of the afternoon in the park. There is nothing distinctive about the topography of the park except in the northern reaches, where nine of Africa’s major ecosystems meet and merge. Vegetation is mainly bushveld, varying from park-like grasslands to dense bush, especially in the rainy season.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the morning at leisure before starting the return journey to Johannesburg via Sabie and the Long Tom Pass. Lunch stop en route (own account). Arrive in Johannesburg in the early evening at approximately 18h30 (unescorted).
