The world famous cathedrals with their distinctive onion shaped domes have become the defining image of Russia’s architecture.

Itinerary

On this tour of the Kremlin and Red Square you will visit:

• Mausoleum of Lenin: The final resting place of Vladimir Lenin, the first head of the Soviet Union.

• Savior (Spasskaya) Tower: Considered to be the most beautiful tower in the complex, the Savior Tower has served as the official entrance to the Kremlin for centuries.

• History Museum: One of the oldest museums in the city, the History Museum tells the story of how Moscow grew in to the city that it is today.

• Cathedral of the Intercession: The Cathedral of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, or St. Basil's Cathedral, is for many the iconic image of Moscow, with its distinctive onion-domes.

• Kazansky Cathedral: This small colourful church is an outstanding example of Russian architecture.
