Take a tour of the most famous historical attractions of Lisbon, capital of Portugal. Admire the magnificent architecture of Jeronimos Monastery which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is perhaps the most prominent monument in Lisbon.

Another impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site in Lisbon is the Belém Tower. It is very well decorated with several typical Manueline motifs. Explore Lisbon's oldest district, Alfama, a picturesque labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares dotted with Fado bars and restaurants.

Also included in this tour are landmarks such as Ajuda Palace, Pedro IV Square, Marquês de Pombal Square and the Vasco da Gama Bridge over the River Tagus.

Itinerary

The tour departs from the Marques de Pombal and accompanied by a guide, travel in a bus to:

The Jeronimos Monastery: Arguably the most prominent monument of Lisbon. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Belem Tower: Another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Alfama: The oldest district of Lisbon.

Rossio: Also known as Pedro IV Square which has some interesting cafes and shops dating back to the 18th century.

After lunch, you will proceed to Sintra Village.

Sintra Palace: A magnificent palace (replaced by a visit to Queluz Palace on Wednesdays)

Cabo da Roca: This is the western-most point in Europe.

Guincho: This is a fishing port in Cascais.

Estoril: It is famous for its large casino and lush gardens.

The tour ends at your hotel.
