Your guide will meet you at the Arc du Carrousel. This is a monumental arch with a horse-drawn chariot on top, situated across the road from the courtyard of the Louvre. Standing with your back to the entrance of the Louvre Museum and Pyramid, you will see it across the road, past the roundabout, before the entrance to the Tuileries Garden (Jardin du Tuileries).
Arriving by metro: Take metro lines 1 or 7 and get off at the metro stop Palais Royal Musee du Louvre. Take the exit marked rue de Rivoli. Cross the rue de Rivoli into the Louvre courtyard and you will see the arch.
Arriving by taxi: Ask to be dropped off at the Arc du Carrousel du Louvre. Your taxi should be able to stop just in front.
Arriving by foot: Walk into the centre of the Louvre courtyard where the glass pyramid is. With your back to the pyramid you will see the arch in the gardens in front of the Louvre.

The Louvre displays over 35,000 pieces which spans over 60,000 square meters. It’s a Herculean task to see so many artworks on one go, therefore, this tour offers you a perfect route to show you the very best the Louvre collection has to offer.
In just 3 hours you will be able to dive deeply in these cultural masterpieces. A delight for all who appreciate art.
Your Small Group Louvre Museum Tour will start at Arc du Carrousel. An English speaking expert guide will help you explore the collection of paintings, sculptures, and various art works of the famous museum. You will also receive an audio headset so that you can hear your guide loud and clear.
Your tour begins with some of the Louvre’s highlights, the graceful Venus de Milo and the celebrated Winged Victory of Samothrace. Continue on to the Apollo Gallery, which houses the ornate royal crowns of Napoleon and King Louis XV and be riveted by the valiant tales of these inimitable leaders.
Marvel at love set in stone in Canova’s Psyche and Cupid and see Delacroix’s famous painting depicting the French struggle for freedom, Liberty Leading the People.
Michelangelo’s works awaits you in the Italian sculpture hall and you will discover what makes Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa the most enigmatic portrait of all time.
The small group size will give you the opportunity to view the hidden treasures, often overlooked by large groups. Visit other famous da Vinci’s works, including Raphael and the incredible Raft of Medusa, the story behind which will stay with you long after you have left the museum.

We are unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
Please be aware that all visitors to the Louvre Museums must pass security before entering the museums. While we use a separate Skip the Line group entrance here, it is still often necessary to queue to pass security – albeit a shorter queue.
Large bags and umbrellas must be deposited at the bag check before entering the galleries (free of charge).
Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your tour.
From April 2017, skip-the-line access will not be included in this tour.
