Trek to the summit of South East Asia’s tallest mountain, Mount Kinabalu. Standing tall at 4095.2 metres, it towers over the Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is also the domain of the world's largest flower, the Rafflesia. However, it will require luck to see the latter, for they flower occasionally and only for a short period of time. Travel past the beautiful Crocker Mountains to reach the Kinabalu National Park, which is also home to the Poring Hot Springs.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu in the morning for this 3 Day Mount Kinabalu Trekking Adventure with Poring Hot Springs. Depart for the Kinabalu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, traversing the Crocker Range. Enroute enjoy splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Take a brief stop at a local market and then set out for the Kinabalu National Park. This nature-lover’s retreat houses a wide variety of unspoilt flora and fauna. The world’s largest flower; Rafflesia grows in this park. The park boasts of the lush vegetation and brims with the richest collection of plant and animal species and thus is one of the known biodiversity hot spot.
Visit the Exhibit Centre and Mountain Garden to learn more about some of Mother Nature’s miracles, or explore the many graded trails. You may also visit the Poring Hot Spring before winding-up for the day. Overnight stay at the Park Headquarters (twin-bed cabin).
After breakfast, proceed to register for the climb to Mount Kinabalu, the highest Bornean mountain. You will be transferred to Timpohon Gate, the starting point of the expedition to the summit. This mountain trail does not require any special mountaineering skills but a certain level of physical fitness is necessary. You will be accompanied by a local mountain guide during trek to the summit. The climb is popular for the scenic delights providing a glimpse of the rich ecosystem. A tough hike through the changing forest scene will end at Laban Rata (3345m) for the night. Overnight stay at Laban Rata Resthouse dormitories.
Get ready for the ultimate adventure of climbing the summit of the highest South-East Asian Mountain, Mount Kinabalu. The summit (4095.2m) trek begins in the dark hours of the morning (03:00am) in time to catch the glorious sunrise (if weather permits). Beautiful panoramas awestruck you as you tread past the mountain. Once you reach the summit and prove your metal it’s time to relax and feel proud on what you have achieved. You might as well spend a few minutes in catching your breath, adoring Mother Nature or capturing the memories. Later start your descent before the morning mist rolls in. All the trekking is sure to give you hunger pangs so take a Breakfast break at Laban Rata Rest house and recharge you energy levels. Continue to Timpohon Gate where you will be picked up at 02:00pm and transferred back to the Park for lunch. At the end of the day leave the Park at 04:00pm for your onward journey to Kota Kinabalu. You will be dropped-off at your hotel in Kota Kinabalu where your tour ends.
