Overview
The Padas River offers a far greater challenge and is highly recommended for the adventurous rafter! Getting there proves quite an adventure too, starting with 1½ hour bus-ride to Beaufort to catch the train that will take you all the way to starting point. You can sight the Padas River whilst aboard this train, giving yourself plenty of opportunity to size-up your challenge.
Cutting through boulder strewn gorges, swollen rapids and lowland jungle, the Padas River is a Grade III to IV. Make your assault down from Pangi to Rayoh, where you can finally disembark for a well-deserved barbecue lunch before returning. Barbecue lunch is included.
Water rafting is a great activity for beginners and pros alike. Journey to Beaufort Railway Station for a train ride to Pangi passing through stunning Sabah countryside. Upon your arrival, take a break over some light refreshments and safety instructions before heading for your 10 km rafting voyage. Feel the thrill as your raft speeds through the rapids of the glorious Padas River!

Surcharge will be imposed on all tours/packages ex-outskirt hotels (Nexus Karambunai, Shangri-la Rasa Ria, Beringgis etc): SIC - MYR55 per person (return) and PVT - MYR85 per person (return).
It is essential that you bring along towel, separate set of clothing and shoes, sun block, hat, insect repellent and swimwear. Raft is on sharing basis (minimum 2 people and maximum 6-8 people). All participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form before departure.
