Overview

Milan is the best place to be from 02 May 2015 to 31 October 2015 as it will be the host to one of the biggest fairs in the world – The Universal Exposition. The Expo dates back to mid-1800s and is held in different parts of the world.

Expo Milano 2015 will see 140 countries participating and the best of cuisines, culture, art and music of each participating country will be showcased over a period of 6 months. The central theme of the expo is Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life and will focus on food, sustainable development and global nutrition.

The fairground will be spread out over 1.1 million square metre like an ancient Roman city with a huge artificial lake surrounded by pavilions.

At the Milan Expo, indulge in cookery shows, heritage walks, street music, dance and nighttime wine-tastings. You will have the possibility to take a trip around the world, sampling the food and traditions of people from all over the globe.

Expo Milano 2015 will be the first Exposition in history to be remembered not only for its products but also for its contribution towards education on food and the planet’s precious resources.

With this ticket you also have an option to add Milan Expo Shuttle pass which you can use to reach the venue. The shuttle operates from Milan Central Station to the Expo at a frequency of 2 hours.
