Jump aboard a luxury bus from College Green, where you will meet your Irish storyteller, also called a seanchai and set off on a lyrical journey into Ireland's past, both mythical and historical. The bus will take you to the peninsula of Beann Eadair, a beautiful spot on the East Coast with views of the lighthouse at Howth Head. During the course of the ride, the seanchai will tell you about the fairies, giants and pookas, who roamed Ireland and how did they come into existence.

Your storyteller will also narrate tales about little old men called leprechauns, who are always into some mischief and store their coins in a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You will hear an enthralling story of the trickery of the leprechauns on the Vikings at the founding of Dublin.

Beann Eadair is believed to be a ground for spotting Irish mermen called marrows, who have the tail of a fish, male torso, small fins instead of arms, the snout of a pig and little ears. Learn of the friendship of Jack O'Mahoney and a merman. Also, according to popular legend, the Conn of the Hundred Battles, a high king of Ireland, used to stroll along the beaches here.

You will board the bus, enjoy a complementary drink and arrive at Clontarf, the site of one of Ireland's largest battle. Your storyteller will narrate stories of the Battle of Clontarf, which not only ended the Viking rule over Ireland but also brought the death of Brian Boru, one of Ireland's most loved kings.

You will also visit the quiet St Annes Park, the beautiful garden which is said to be inhabited by fairies. Take a leisurely stroll around the lovely flora and you will feel the presence of supernatural beings.

While you admire the beauty and serenity of the park, your storyteller will also tell you stories about Fionn MacCumahail, a famous leader of the Fianna army, who served the High King of Ireland. Their legendary deeds are full of valour and heroism.

This enchanting tour will end at The Church Bar On Mary Street, the place where Arthur Guinness was married and the famous composer George Fredrick Handel practiced his famous Messiah before its first performance in Fishamble Street, just across the river.
