The basic version of this tour does not include entrance to the Blue Lagoon. Availability at the Blue Lagoon can be limited therefore we recommend you upgrade to include one of our bathing packages. The Blue Lagoon Standard Bathing Package includes entrance to The Blue Lagoon spa. You can also opt for the Blue Lagoon Comfort Bathing Package, which also offers use of a towel, a drink of your choice, skin care trial pack and an algae mask.
You can choose between a drop-off at your hotel or at the Keflavik International Airport if your time in Reykjavik is drawing to a close.

Your tour begins with a pick-up by bus from your Reykjavik hotel or guesthouse where you’ll meet your English-speaking guide.
Your bus will take you to Reykjavik harbor. Board a boat bound for Faxaflói Bay, where all nature of magnificent marine life inhabit the emerald waters. The area is home to a unique variety of the Minke Whale, the Humpback, the Harbor Porpoise, and the White-Beaked Dolphin.
Scan the horizon for massive and incomparable whales, which epitomize poetry in motion when they arch themselves up from the water to breach. Hopefully you’ll see dolphins and porpoises dallying playfully by the side of the boat.
Keep one eye trained on the wide waters, and another on the sky, as the Puffin, Arctic Tern, Gannet, and many varieties of Gull dance among the clouds. Your whale-watching trip will last between 3 hours. The entrance to the Whale Exhibition Centre is free of charge for Whale Watching passengers.
You will be picked up from whale watching at the port around 1230h (12:30pm) and departure to Blue Lagoon at 1300h (1:00pm). After a short 45 minutes drive, you will reach Blue Lagoon around 1345h (1:45pm).
Arrive at this magical geothermal spa, which is situated in the youngest lava field in West Iceland. Bathe in soothing blue-green waters as steam rises in spectral wisps from the surface. The warm water comes from the nearby geothermal power plant of Svartsengi and averages a pleasant 40°C (104°F). It is rich in minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is said to alleviate skin conditions such as psoriasis.
Your time at the Blue Lagoon is at leisure. You have three Blue Lagoon options to choose from - Whale Watching and Blue Lagoon without Blue Lagoon Tickets , or combine your tour with the Standard Admission Bathing Package or Comfort Admission Bathing Package.
You can opt for the Standard Admission Bathing Package, which includes the visitor pass as well as the entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon spa. You can bathe in the lagoon, enjoy sauna and use the changing facilities.
You also have the option to choose the Comfort Admission Bathing Package which includes all the elements of the standard package and additional benefits, which are as follows:
•Get a large and comfortable towel. You must return the towel after bathing.
•Enjoy a drink of your choice at the Blue Café or the Lagoon Bar.
•Get a skincare trial pack that consists of a 30ml tube and one complimentary sample of Blue Lagoon signature products. The pack also has a sample of the Blue Lagoon algae mask.
At the tour's end you will be dropped in Reykjavik or the Keflavik International Airport based on your choice.

Alternate meeting point: You can meet the tour directly at Holtagarðar 10, 104 Reykjavík. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.
Reykjavik hotels or Keflavik airport. Departures from the Blue Lagoon back to Reykjavík are at 3:00pm, 5:15pm and 7:00pm. Transfer time to Reykjavík is about 50 minutes. Departures from the Blue Lagoon back to Keflavik International Airport are at 2:00pm and 3:00pm a 20 minute drive.

Pick-up is available from major hotels and guesthouses in the greater Reykjavik area. Pick-up services not provide from private addresses.
