Enjoy one of Iceland’s most popular attractions the easy way with the Blue Lagoon Direct transfer service.
The Blue Lagoon is a unique spa located in a lava field in west Iceland. A combination of silica, geothermally-heated sea water and algae gives the lagoon a lovely milky-blue color. The warm water comes from the nearby geothermal power plant of Svartsengi and averages a pleasant 40°C (104°F). It is rich in minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is said to alleviate skin conditions such as psoriasis.
The spa's state-of-the-art facilities include modern changing rooms and showers, and an indoor pool. A geothermal beach, lava caves and silica mud are also a part of the lagoon area.
In addition to bathing in the blue-green water, you can enjoy walking in the Lagoon’s spectacular surroundings, relax in a geothermal steam bath or release the stress from your shoulders under a waterfall.
For a blissful experience, indulge yourself with an outdoor massage or one of the spa treatments available. On site there is also an excellent restaurant with an a la carte menu and a Blue Lagoon shop selling skin care products based on a unique blend of Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater active ingredients – minerals, silica, and algae.
On the way back from the Blue Lagoon, you have a choice of departures to Reykjavik: 12 noon, 3:00pm, 5:15pm, 7:00pm and 2100h (09:00pm). Please inform the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you plan to take when leaving the Spa.
This is a non-guided transfer service and the entrance fee for the Blue Lagoon is not included in your ticket. Many people who visit the Blue Lagoon choose not to bathe and to simply enjoy the spectacular surroundings. For this reason, to offer the best value to all our customers, we do not include the entrance fee in the tour price.
At the end of the trip you will be dropped off at your hotel in Reykjavik.
