Please make your way to Skiathos Palace, where a bus will be waiting to take you to the water’s edge for this island hopping tour. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking escort who will add color and detail to this day of sea and sun.
Board a boat in the port of Skiathos and set sail across the Aegean for Skopelos. Arrive in the main town and take a guided walk through the narrow, cobbled streets of this living museum, where ancient churches and castles are revealed around every corner. The historical arc of Greek architecture is evident even in the humblest homes of Skopelos, where residents have long excelled as woodcarvers, weavers, and potters.
Enjoy some free time to wander around the town and hunt for handicrafts in its tiny shops before you reboard your boat for the port of Patitiri on the neighboring island of Alonissos.
Settle in for lunch at a local taverna in Patitri or head to the town beach for a sun-kissed afternoon of swimming and tanning. Alonissos is a protected island, home to the endangered Mediterranean monk seal and a host of rare plant species indigenous to the northern Sporades. For an additional fee you can take a bus to the old town of Alonissos.
Reboard your boat back to Skiathos, keeping a watchful eye out for dolphins. There is no hotel drop-off. A bus will drop you back at the Skiathos Palace at tour’s end.
