This in-depth tour ensures you will experience the tower in full and from every angle: hear its tumultuous history, photograph it from Trocadero Plaza and experience the thrill of climbing all the way to the top!
See the famous “Dame de Fer” first from Trocadero Plaza with your English-speaking guide; undoubtedly the best spot to photograph the tower from. Your guide will talk you through the life cycle of the tower, from its rough beginnings as Paris’s most hated landmark to its most beloved.
This is the one experience in Paris you cannot miss!
Note: From 1 March 2016 onwards, this tour will no longer include the Eiffel Tower summit access. You may need to purchase tickets for the summit at the Eiffel Tower ticketing counters.
This tour is extremely popular and advance booking is highly recommended. We do have a version of this tour which includes skip the line ticket to the second floor Observation Deck and a Free Seine River Cruise, click here for more details>>
Meet your guide at the step of the Palais de Chaillot, in front of the main entrance to the Architecture Museum at the Trocadero. Your guide will be holding a sign which reads: "Skip the Line: Eiffel Tower Tour”.
On this tour you will get to admire the Eiffel Tower from every angle: first from Trocadero Plaza, then from the base and finally the tower’s observation level and the summit.
Stop to gaze upon the tower in its entirety at Trocadero Plaza and get those all-important souvenir snaps as your guide explains the history of the construction from creation to near demise to glorious rise to the top – you will be provided with a headset so you will not miss a single intriguing fact!
Next, follow your guide across the Iena bridge to the base of the tower where you can appreciate every single curve and detail of Gustave Eiffel’s masterpiece and understand the science that keeps the tower standing. Naturally, the highlight of the tour is the climb to the top of the tower. You will not need to wait in notorious queues and are guaranteed a faster access to the tower: more time to spend at the top to take in the view!
Your guide will accompany you as far as the second level of the observation deck, from where they will point out the marvels that lay at your feet. From there you have the freedom to explore the tower at your leisure and rise to the third-level summit via the general access elevator and watch the city sprawl out beneath you.
Spend as long as you like at the Eiffel Tower and make your own way down once you’re ready.
From 1 March 2016 onwards:
Your last stop before heading to the Eiffel Tower will be Champ de Mars, a large stretch of grassland with gardens on both sides. Located between the École Militaire and the Seine River, you will enjoy uninterrupted, spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower.
At the Eiffel Tower, the tour will no longer take you to the third-level summit and it will end at the second level. If you wish to go to the third-level summit of the Eiffel Tower, you will need to buy tickets on the spot from the second level ticketing counter.
