Spend some time exploring Vence, an inland town on the French Riviera. Surrounded by a ring of hills with splendid views down to the Mediterranean, Vence has been a favourite haunt and inspiration of artists, writers and poets.

You will also visit St Jeannet, an extremely picturesque village near Vence. Be enchanted by the mind blowing landscape and sample some of the finest wines of the region.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for this tour in an air conditioned deluxe minibus. The driver is also your multilingual guide for this tour.

Your tour starts with a visit to Vence, known as the city of Art. You will have time at leisure to explore the old town of Vence which is a walled circle of medieval buildings. You could also choose to visit the ‘Dominicans Rosaire Chappell’, which was designed and decorated by Henri Matisse.

Proceed to St. Jeannet, an extremely picturesque village near Vence. Nestling at the foot of the famous Baou (rock) St. Jeannet has inspired many artists. Admire the spectacular landscape and sample some of the wines of St. Jeannet. The village is famous for its rose and white wines.

Drive back to Nice where you will be dropped off to your hotel.
