This is a pass to visit the historical monuments, museums and other attractions of the city of Lille in France. You can opt for either a 1, 2 or 3 days pass. The pass will provide you free entrance to over 27 attractions in the city, as well as Metropolitan Lille's public transportation network (subway, bus, tramway).
The highlights of the Lille city pass are:
City Tour: What could be nicer than to tour the city comfortably seated in a minibus. Equipped with an audiovisual system in 8 languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Japanese), the City Tour offers views of the city’s main sites and monuments, from its origins to the most modern districts. Departure from the Square Morrisson. Every hour, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from May to October (until 5:00 PM on Sundays), and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from November to April. Lasts 50 minutes.
Guided visit of Old Lille: This itinerary allows the discovery of the city's heritage, history and lifestyle through its main sites and monuments. Visit the Palais Rihour, the Vieille Bourse, the Cathedral Notre-Dame de la Treille and then arrive at the Ilôt Comtesse to witness the Flemish past. Operates on Saturdays throughout the year at 2:30 pm (at 10:30 am from April). Departure from the Tourist Office, Place Rihour and lasts 1 ½ hours.
Armentière's belfry: Armentières, built on the banks of the River Lys, has been famous for cloth since the 11th century. Armentières is a town with many facets featuring a sports and recreation park that is home to one of the biggest sailing schools in France. A beer museum is currently being built in an old brewery.
Palais des Beaux-Arts of Lille: It is one of the premier museums in France, houses in its imposing 19th-century building collections of European paintings, antiquities, a medieval and Renaissance collection, 17th and 18th century ceramics, 19th century French sculptures and 18th century scale models.
Fort de Seclin: The fort was built in 1870 in a strategically area already used by the Romans. From its heights and by clear weather, the Canadian memorial of Vimy can been seen. It is home to a museum of war armory and other interesting collection.
Domaine Napoléon: Explore the Napoleon Museum considered one of the most beautiful museums dedicated to Emperor Napoleon. The place is abound in priceless antiques of silver, ivory, manuscripts, weapons, letters and personal notes of the emperor.
