Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Paphos in a 4WD and taken for an exciting Jeep Safari to the Akamas Peninsula. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

Begin your safari with a first stop at Avgas Gorge, which is well known for its 30 metre high limestone walls. Rich vegetation and fresh springs create an enchanting atmosphere.

Stop at Lara Bay, widely known as the breeding ground of the Greenback Turtle.

Continue along the rugged coastal road through the peninsula where you will be overwhelmed by the timeless charm and tranquillity of the area.

Ride up to the Northwest peninsula, to the coastal beauty of Chrysochou Bay for a pit stop. Rest a while and bathe in the tranquil waters.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the legendary Baths of Aphrodite. According to Greek legend, the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe with her lover Adonis in this romantic spot and the waters are rumoured to have rejuvenating qualities.

Feeling refreshed continue your journey through the picturesque fishing port of Latchi and the popular resort of Polis.

Drive to a local village where you will have the chance to enjoy lunch. If you wish, you may also visit the Snake Exhibition, where an interesting collection of snakes and reptiles native to Cyprus can be found (payable direct).

A thrilling drive home through quaint traditional villages and greenery will bring you to the end of your safari.

At the end of the tour you will be transported back to your hotel in Paphos.
