Visit one of the largest, and most unlikely, prayer centers in the world in the far-flung village of Medugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Here, on a distant hilltop, six local teenagers saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary appear before them. A wooden cross now marks the spot, and Catholic pilgrims converge daily to honor the vision on Apparition Hill.

This tour allows you to ascend to Apparition Hill and attend Mass at the local church, where many claim to have discovered peace and belief.

You will also be treated to a brief stopover in the picturesque town of Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s only city on the Adriatic.

Itinerary

You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach/minibus from your hotel in Dubrovnik. Your guide will lead this Medugorje Holy Tour in English, German, French, and Italian.

Cross over into Bosnia and Herzegovina and enjoy a brief visit to Neum, where the roofs are red, the hills are green, and the water transcends blue.

Arrive in Medugorje, one of the world’s most unique pilgrimage sights. In June 1981, six teenagers reportedly saw a vision of the Virgin Mary appear before them on a remote knoll, now revered as Apparition Hill.

The Catholic faithful come by the thousands each week to this humble village to bow their heads before the powerful wooden cross that rises up from the site where Our Lady appeared.

Visit this famous shrine and attend Mass at the local church, where many say they have experienced a spiritual awakening.

Enjoy free time in the afternoon to walk around Medugorje, which has been transformed from a sleepy rural village into a bustling town full of shops and restaurants.
