Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken in an air-conditioned vehicle for a sightseeing tour of the Litchfield National Park. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.

Leaving Darwin, your coach will follow the Stuart Highway via the township of Batchelor to Litchfield National Park. Visiting the main falls of the Park, you have the opportunity for scenic and interpretive bush and monsoon vine forest walks.

While during the monsoons, the four major waterfalls thunder down from the cliffs to tropical rock pools below, while during the dry season, the waterholes become a perfect spot for a cool dip.

View Florence Falls from a high vantage point before making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below with an opportunity to swim, making your way back via the monsoon forest and open woodland.

Visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole below. Continue to Wangi Falls for another opportunity for a swim in the large crystal clear pool and an optional steady climb through the rainforest to the top of the falls.

There are many interesting photo opportunities, including the amazing stand of termite mounds.
