Activity Overview

Savor some of the finest wines of South Australia as you visit any one of the four wine valleys - Barossa, Clare, McLaren and Adelaide Hills on this tour. Producing wines for 160 years, Barossa Valley is one of Australia’s most popular wine region. Clare Valley is the place to go to if you prefer smaller boutique wineries. This picturesque valley offers some of the best Riesling that promises to delight your senses.

The red wines of McLaren Vale are also a treat to the palette. Adelaide Hills wineries are another place you can visit if you want to sample cool-climate wines. The first Australian exported wine that was sent to Queen Victoria in 1845 was from this region.

This tour is an excellent way to taste some of the best wines of South Australia.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Adelaide and will travel in an air-conditioned private vehicle on this tour. Your driver is your guide on this tour. You will have an information kit to guide you along as you proceed on this tour. Some refreshments will be served to you en-route.

You can choose any one region to explore: the Barossa Valley is South Australia’s best-known wine region; the Clare Valley is famous for its Shiraz and Riesling; the McLaren Vale is dotted with small to medium wineries in what is considered the most beautiful scenery in the state; Adelaide Hills is famous for long-lasting sparkling wines.

You will meet the people who produce such excellent wines and also have the opportunity to taste the wines.

After a tour of your chosen wine region, you will be taken back to your hotel in Adelaide where the tour ends.
