  • Overview & Itinerary
    Overview

Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea, off southern Thailand. Some of the most spectacular beaches of Thailand are located here. The Rawai beach is a palm-fringed beach, best known for the natives called “Sea Gypsies” or moken. These nomadic sea farers are believed to be the first dwellers of the Andaman coastal regions of Thailand. They sell shell objects and sea food - fish, sea cucumbers, and squid.

The Promthep Cape (Laem Promthep)is the perfect spot to catch a magnificent view of the sun setting over the ocean, while Phuket town itself is beautiful and rich in antique architecture, great shopping opportunities and lots of delicious seafood.

    Itinerary

This tour is available in two options – coach and private. The private option offers you greater flexibility and air-conditioned comfort and you can spend as much or as little time at any of the places that you visit. Unlike the tight schedules of coach tours, the private option allows you to do the tour at your own pace.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket/the airport and taken on a sightseeing tour of Phuket town and its beaches.

    You will visit:

    • Gypsy Village at Rawai beach, a palm-fringed beach best known for what the natives call “Sea Gypsies” or moken. You may swim at the main beach at Rawai and the casuarina tree-lined seafront is perfect for long walks and for sampling freshly barbequed seafood. Don’t forget to carry sunscreen lotion because the sun can be very strong.
    • Promthep Cape (Laem Promthep), a small peninsula which offers a magnificent view of the sunset over the ocean beyond. Enjoy its unique scenery. Drive around the island, visit Kata, Karon, Patong and Kamala beach.
    • Phuket Town which has beautiful, antique architecture, great shopping opportunities and lots of mouth watering seafood. In Phuket town, you will see the famous Chalong Temple, the centuries-old Sino-Portuguese builind along both sides of Dee-book road and Talang road. The tour will also include a stop at Rung Hill for a sweeping panoramic view of Phuket town.

At the end of the four-hour tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Phuket/ the airport.
