Explore the natural beauty of the Loch Lomond, the village of Aberfoyle and witness the grandeur of Stirling Castle in a guided tour from Edinburgh.
Starting our journey westward, we pass through Glasgow to reach Loch Lomand. Embark on a one-hour circular tour around the south basin of Loch and admire the natural beauty of the landscape with Ben Lomond in the backdrop. Pass by enchanting villages, castles and homes along the shoreline of Loch Lomond. Alternately, visit the quaint picturesque village of Balloch situated on the shoreline, well-served by pretty cafes and shops. It is also home to the Sea Life Loch Lomond Sanctuary.
Travel north through the Trossachs to reach the charming village of Aberfoyle. This popular holiday village is famous for its fascinating myths and tales about fairies that live in trees.
Spend some time at Scottish Wool Centre situated in the heart of Trossachs. Enjoy the scenery while having lunch and later you can browse the local stores selling traditional products. Don’t forget to watch the art of sheep herding in action!
Make your way to Stirling Castle which is one of Scotland’s most magnificent castles with rich history and heritage. Walk in the footsteps of Scotland’s legends who were once awe-inspired by the grandeur of this castle, its distinctive gardens and superb sculptures.
Alternatively, you can also visit The Wallace Monument, another impressive Scottish landmark that sits atop a hill overlooking Stirling Castle. It honors the Scottish patriot and martyr– Sir William Wallace, who won against King Edward’s army at The Battle of Stirling Bridge.
