The tour begins at your hotel in Waikiki by minicoach (55 seats) or minibus (25 seats). An English speaking driver cum guide will accompany you.
From there, travel to the Honlolulu Airport where you will board your flight to Maui, the Valley of Isle.
Begin by visiting the towering Halekala Volcano and knock on the door of this famous “House of the Sun,” and learn about the mythical lore that surrounds it at the adjacent Visitor Center.
From Kahului, we will take you through upcountry Maui to Haleakala, is a dormant volcano that last released its fury in 1790. Over 200 years later the land surrounding the lava flow is still barren. Many believe that Haleakala Crater resembles the surface of the moon or, more likely, Mars with its red hue.
Then travel to the P’uu Ulaula Overlook and enjoy some of the best views of the volcano from this “red hill,” and the endangered Silverswords. Visit Mount Haleakala Crater
Then we move on to Iao Valley State Park for a view of the majestic Iao Needle. We head to Lahaina, driving through the historic town of Wailuku, past the Kaahumanu Church. As our driver continues on to return other passengers to their Maui hotels, you will enjoy a self-guided stroll through old Lahaina Town, the whaling era capital of Hawaii.
The tour concludes with your flying back to Honolulu and then being dropped off at your hotel or Sheraton bus depot.
