Your next stop is at Southampton, one of the oldest colonial settlements and now one of the most prestigious parts of The Hamptons. Celebrities such as Jerry Seinfield, Paris Hilton, David Letterman, Steven Spielberg and others have made it their home.
Stroll down the attractive main street before heading down through the historical area, the harbor and along Ocean View Drive, passing the homes of the rich and famous along the way.
Leaving Southampton you go on to the lovely old town of Sag Harbor. This quaint place, once an important center of the whaling industry, is mentioned in the classic novel ‘Moby Dick.’ Take your time to admire the luxury yachts in the bay and browse the antique shops for bargains.
After lunch, (payable direct), head to Tanger Outlets where you pick up your complimentary tote bag and big-value savings coupons. You can then browse the excellent selection of brand name stores for great bargains on your favorite stuff.
In late afternoon, you depart west for New York and arrive in the early evening.
