Go at your own pace on your fresh bike ride along the banks of the Hudson River in Hudson River Park.

Avoid traffic as you leisurely ride on to Downtown Manhattan. Use your complimentary map to find Battery Park, the Financial District, South Street Seaport, Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge. The neighborhood may already feel very familiar to you as it has been the location for some of the biggest block buster films.

Itinerary

There is no pick up for this Self-guided bike tour of Manhattan. Please make your own way to Hudson River Park, Pier 84 (557 12th Ave at 43rd Street) or Battery Park, Pier A (18 Battery Place at West Street). You can take A,C or E train to 42nd St, the nearest subway station. You can also take bike rental from Governor’s Island: 10 South Street @ Whitehall Ave (take free ferry to the island) Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY. Friday:(10:00 am - 05:00 pm), Saturday & Sunday: (10:00 am - 06:00 pm).

Get your bike, helmet and complimentary map and set out on your own self-guided bike tour of Manhattan.

See the spectacular Manhattan skyline and maybe you will be able to identify the Empire State Building. Spend as long as you want at Central Park visiting attractions such tranquil Sheep’s Meadow, the delightful classic Carousel, famous Bethesda Fountain and magical Belvedere Castle. Or maybe you prefer to checkout the medieval Shakespeare Garden or the John Lennon memorial at Strawberry Fields.

Enjoy a fresh ride along the bank of the Hudson River in Hudson River Park or visit cultural Upper West Side, it is up to you.

Cycle on to downtown Manhattan and visit Battery Park, the Financial District (home to the New York Stock Exchange), historic South Street Seaport, Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge. You will even be able to smile back at the Statue of Liberty as she welcomes visitors to the City!

Return to Pier 84 at the end of your tour.
