Itinerary

Make your way to the attraction entrance at Fifth Avenue between 33rd & 34th Streets. The Express Pass lets you skip to the very front of all three admission lines: our security line, ticket line , and elevator line to the Observatory.It's a fantastic opportunity to make more time for what really matters during your trip to New York City and visit to the Empire State Building.

To obtain your ticket for the Empire State Building Observatory, New York you should present your isango booking voucher at the ticket office located on the 2nd floor of the building. Let the Observatory staff and security know that you have Express Pass vouchers to be expressed through security and expressed to the ticket window.

The art deco Empire State Building soars over a mile into the Manhattan sky and gives spectacular views from the Observatory on the 86th floor.

The adventure begins when you step into the high speed lifts. It takes less than 1 minute to rise 1,050 feet (320 meters) to the Observatory.

The Observatory has both a glass-enclosed area, which is heated in winter and cooled in summer, and spacious outdoor promenades on all four sides of the Building. High powered binoculars are available on the promenades for the convenience of visitors at a minimal cost.

From your vantage point high above New York City, you will enjoy stupendous panoramas. On a clear day you can see up to 80 miles (130 km), viewing the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, as well as five New York boroughs. To the north you will see the huge expanse of Central Park; to the south is Lower Manhattan and, far in the distance, the Statue of Liberty. For even more breathtaking views, step onto the outdoor promenade.

The experience ends at the Empire State Building.

There are 3 lines at the observatory: the security line (required for all visitors), the ticket line and the elevator line. Let the Observatory staff and security know that you have Express Pass vouchers to be expressed through security and expressed to the ticket window.
Visitors and their belongings are subject to inspection. The Empire State Building appreciates your patience and understanding of these procedures and the additional time that may be required.
All visitors to the Empire State Building must pass through primary security screening (similar to airport security procedure) before going to the Observatory.
There are no locker storage facilities at the Empire State Building for personal belongings.
In case of an emergency, please contact a Security Officer or an Observatory representative.

The 86th floor observatory is handicap accessible.
Elevators are available for handicap visitors and visitors with baby strollers.
All visitors must go through the Observatory security-check line.
Tickets are for one-time use only.
Admission tickets to the 102nd-floor observatory are sold only at the observatory ticket office, on the 2nd floor of the building.
