The tour departs from the Gray Line “Lighthouse” Ticket Office located at Toulouse Street and the Mississippi River (at the Steamboat Natchez Dock), only 1 block from Jackson Square in the French Quarter.
From here you will board a climate-controlled coach and set out on towards the Garden District in New Orleans for a walking tour.

Enjoy a walk through New Orleans’ elegant Garden District, once part of the plantation owned by Bienville, the founder of New Orleans. This historic district is known for its marvelous examples of Greek Revival and Italianate architecture.
See the homes of former Kings and Queens of Mardi Gras that are located here, as well as the home of the premier family of football - the Mannings - where Archie lives and Peyton and Eli grew up.
View the former residence of celebrated author Anne Rice, the house where Jefferson Davis died in 1889, and Toby’s Corner, the oldest house in the area (built in 1838).
Visit Lafayette Cemetery, one of the Cities of the Dead, and learn about the unusual above-ground burial system.
A short stop for refreshments (payable direct)is included on your stroll through this beautiful section of New Orleans.
At the end of the walk re-board your coach and return to the starting point of the tour in New Orleans.
