Go on an excursion to Cape Cod, the sandy peninsula at the southernmost tip of Massachusetts, and enter a world of sand dunes and salty beaches. It boasts of quaint fishing villages, excellent biking and hiking trails, and of course, the freshest seafood available.
Enjoy the surf and the endless miles of windswept seashore. Stroll down the "King's Highway" through scenic Sandwich, MA, the oldest town on the Cape.
In Hyannisport, you will visit a memorial to President John F. Kennedy, and join a lectured sightseeing harbor cruise for a 45-minute tour to get the best possible view of the Kennedy Compound. In 1956, while he was serving in the United States Senate, John F. Kennedy purchased a cottage here that later became the summer White House. Other family members also bought near-by houses, and the "Kennedy Compound" was formed. You will have time to have lunch at your own expense.
You will witness “Whydah Gallery”, where you will get some hands-on with pirate treasure. This one of a kind museum brings the story of Black Sam Bellamy, captain of the Whydah, to life documented by National Geographic and the Discovery Channel. Then, you will make a visit to the beach to relax and collect some shells.
