At the start of your Lake Tahoe Photographic Tour you and your companion will be picked up from your hotel in a luxury SUV.
This 4- hour tour departs at 09:00am and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Your tour begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by the Grand Daddy of all Tahoe Peaks, Mt. Tallac. This area is also a wildlife sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph many species of local birds, mammals, and possibly even bears.
When in season, you will then be taken to see the amazing Tahoe Kokanee Salmon run.
As the mountains and lakes beckon, you will continue your journey to back-country lakes and beyond to spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits your arrival. You will then climb 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, which gives you an amazing view of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, Mt Tallac, and the surrounding High Sierras.
Next, you move on to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. You will be taken to secret spots where the allure, beauty, and photographic opportunities are timeless. These areas are priceless, and offer a great vantage point to cultivate your imagery. More incredible waterfalls await, as you explore the natural beauty of this glacier-carved masterpiece from many different angles.
As part of the tour package, you will receive an edited DVD of spectacular images of you and your party shot on location. You are also entitled to 50 per cent discount on printing of your images.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Lake Tahoe.
