Your Royal London Sightseeing Tour tour starts at Victoria Coach Station at 0845h (08:45am). You will travel in an air-conditioned motor-coach accompanied by an English-speaking Blue Badge Guide.
The excursion begins with a panoramic drive up to Kensington Palace, former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. You will see the important Victorian masterpieces of the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial before heading down to Trafalgar Square where Lord Nelson gazes down from his 202 foot (62 metre) Column.
From Trafalgar Square you will proceed down Whitehall, which houses the bureaucracy that supports the UK government. You will see the entrance to Downing Street, where the Prime Minister resides at No 10 and the Chancellor of the Exchequer at No 11. Arriving at Parliament Square you will see the iconic Big Ben clock tower, the splendid Gothic complex of the Houses of Parliament, and magnificent Westminster Abbey, venue for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate.
Next, you will head to St. James' Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colourful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their bearskins and red tunics and make a change with the Old Guard.
The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square at around 1200h (12 noon). Your guide will be happy to give you suggestions for lunch and transportation back to your hotel.
