This tour to Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge departs from Victoria Coach Station (Gate no 1-5) at 0845h (08:45am). Board your air-conditioned coach and set out to explore some of the most enduring landmarks of England, accompanied by an English-speaking guide.
Reach Windsor at about 0950h (09:50am). The tour will begin with a visit to Windsor Castle, which is an official residence of the Queen. The castle is about 900 years old. One of the highlights is the magnificent St. George’s Chapel. While here you will visit the state rooms and (subject to schedule) enjoy the changing of the guard ceremony.
Around 1130h (11:30am) depart for Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will arrive here at 1300h (1:00pm). Bath is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces and architecture. Start with an orientation tour of Bath which will show you Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge on the river Avon. You will then enjoy a guided tour of the Roman Baths.
Around 1500h (3:00pm) depart to Bath travel to Stonehenge, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive at Stonehenge at about 1600h (4:00pm) and walk around the mystifying circular formation of tall, standing stones. Experts still debate whether these were intended as an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or an elaborate cemetery.
Depart Stonehenge at about 1645h (4:45pm). The tour ends at Victoria Train Station in London at around 2000h (8:00pm).
