Overview

The Titanic Belfast Experience is a lasting tribute and interactive information centre dedicated to the story of the legend that was RMS Titanic. Titanic Belfast opened in late March of 2012, and sits 100 metres in front of where the Titanic's hull was first constructed.

Inside this unique exhibit, visitors can get to know the stories of passengers aboard Titanic, and learn what life was really like on the ship through photographs, background stories and interactive displays. In addition to replicas of Titanic's most lavish rooms, Titanic Belfast holds a number of artefacts from the ship, including the logbook and enquiry plans.

One of Titanic Belfast's biggest highlights is the Shipyard Ride, an electronic ride that takes visitors through the construction of Titanic using animations, special effects, and to-scale reconstructions. This ride, in addition to a life-size plan of the Titanic's Promenade Deck, allows visitors to understand the enormity of the vessel and the work that went into building the largest and most luxurious ship of the early 20th century.
