The Dalaman River is situated within Mugla city borders amongst Köycegiz and Dalaman. Its frothing, turquoise waters draw both tourists and white water enthusiasts to make it an extremely popular destination. Its 229 kilometer length runs through a deep and narrow valley where two of its branches meet. This union of these two branches creates the rapids and white water that will be the highlight of your tour. Hold on tight as you rush past rocks and river banks on the experience of a lifetime.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Bodrum in an air-conditioned coach for your Rafting on the Dalaman tour by your English-speaking guide.

From Bodrum you’ll be driven to the Gökova region, a 4 hours drive from Bodrum. On the way, you’ll stop for breakfast (butter, jam, cheese, egg, tomatoes, cucumber, olives and tea.)

The Gulf of Gökova is a narrow gulf of the Aegean Sea separating the Bodrum peninsula from the Resadiye peninsula. It is punctuated by the Greek island Kos which seals the gulf from the Aegean.

You’ll be taken to the Dalaman River where your rafting adventure begins. The 229 kilometer river runs through a deep and narrow valley where two of its branches meet. This union of these two branches creates the rapids and white water that will be the highlight of your tour. You will be accompanied by a certified rafting guide on the rapids. There are two levels of difficulty available on this tour: R2 (difficulty rate : 3+) and R3 (difficulty rate : 3-4+).

After your rafting adventure, you’ll have lunch before making the return trip to Bodrum. The menu includes salad, fruit, grilled chicken and meatballs, grilled fish and potato salad.

You will be dropped off at your hotel, where your tour ends.
