A breathtaking landscape of snow opens up before you as you set out in a revolving cable-car from Engelberg to Mount Titlis. You have the option to visit the spectacular Ice Grotto, ride the Ice Flyer – a chairlift that spans the glacier crevasses of Mount Titlis, or slide down 150 metres on a snow tube called the Fun Lift. Itinerary

You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach from the bus parking near Zurich Main Train Station (Stop: Sihlquai, Streetcar: 4, 13). Accompanied by a multi-lingual guide speaking English, Spanish and German, you will journey via Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne. It is the capital of the Canton of Lucerne and an important tourist destination due to its location on the shore of Lake Lucerne within sight of Mount Pilatus and Rigi.

You will be taken on a short city tour and shown the main sites, including a visit to the Lion Monument. The famous carving of a dying lion by Bertel Thorvaldsen, a renowned Danish/Icelandic sculptor, commemorates the hundreds of Swiss guards who were massacred during the French Revolution in 1792. After visiting the Lion Monument, you will have about an hour at leisure to explore the place on your own.

Further on, proceed to Engelberg, a famous ski resort (3028 metres) and take a 45-minute revolving cable-car ride to Mount Titlis. Mount Titlis is a glacier paradise at a height of 3000 metres and offers an amazing snow and ice experience on the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland. After reaching the top, you can enjoy a variety of attractions and the magnificent scenery of the Alps. There are restaurants, a sun terrace, Ice Grotto and much more. You can also board the Ice Flyer chairlift and enjoy sliding over the snow or use the Fun Lift for sledging.

After a great time in the snow, you will return to Zurich. The tour ends at the Zurich bus station.

During winters if a mountain has to close the cable cars/ cogwheel trains because of bad weather, there are two possible situations:

If the news is received BEFORE the coach has left for the tour, there are 3 possibilities:
Post-poning the tour to another day
Changing the booking to another mountain (generally no refund because the tour is fully guided)
Changing the booking to Lucerne, the must for every visitor , (in this case refund will be paid.)
Not taking any tour and get full refund

If the news is received AFTER the coach has already left, there are 2 possibilites:
Changing the booking and going to another mountain (generally no refund, because the tour is fully guided)
Changing the booking to Lucerne, te must for every visitor, (in this case refund will be paid.)

Mt. Titlis is not enough snow to offer the fun activities at the glacier park. Glacier park will be closed until further notice.
