Las Águilas Jungle Park is a zoological and botanical park located near the Los Cristianos beach. To reach the park you can make your way to Urb. Las Aguilas del Teide, 38640, Arona, or book a seat in advance on the free Jungle Park Shuttle Service (minibus) from North Zone (Thursdays) and South Zone (Tuesdays). Opening hours are 1000h (10:00am) to 1730h (5:30pm).
The Park has over 75,000 m² of jungle with more 500 animals, plus walking paths with tunnels, suspension bridges, waterfalls, lagoons, and caves.
Highlights of the Park
The Big Cat collection: One of the Park’s main attractions are the rare white lions from South Africa. Other big cats are leopards, jaguars, Bengal tigers, white tigers and pumas.
The Primate Collection: Monkeying around at the Park are gentle orang utans, agile gibbons, comic chimps, strikingly colored mandrills, tiny, mischievous Capuchin monkeys and many more of our close relatives.
The Bird Collection: The Park is well-known for its exotic birds including cranes, ibis, flamingos, swans, storks, parrots, macaws, vultures, falcons, eagles and penguins.
Other animals : These include pygmy hippopotamus, crocodiles, caiman, sociable racoons, cute red pandas and lively meerkats.
Jungle Raid: Enjoy a real jungle adventure when you follow this thrilling circuit with ropes, bridges, passages and tunnels of over 300 meters long.
Birds of Prey Shows: These acclaimed shows take place twice a day. Get dramatic close-up views of the magnificent birds of prey in free flight. See them flying just over your head, hopping around on the ground, playing and even walking.
Another exciting attraction is the BOB ride, involving driving an amazing vehicle along over 800 meters of high-speed jungle-crossing track.
At the end of your visit you need to make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
