Overview

A must for those who want to find out more about the life and times of one of history’s most enigmatic artists; this Barcelona walking tour takes you on a journey through Picasso’s Barcelona.

The highlight of this Barcelona tour is a guided tour of the Picasso Museum. Located in the affluent area of ancient Barcelona, the museum contains nearly 4000 works from Picasso’s early career.

What's the plan:

Explore some of the top attractions of Barcelona such as Arc de Triomf, Paseo del Born, or the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar.

Stroll through the Born neighborhood, one of the oldest areas of the city and one of the four neighborhoods that make up the Ciutat Vella district (historic center). Admire the exterior of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar before heading to the Picasso Museum, documenting the life and career of Picasso. Admire a collection of more than 3,500 works with many artworks from his youth.

Spend as much time as you want inside the museum to admire all the works at your own pace.

    My Picasso walking tour

I enjoyed the tour except our guide walked to fast and it was hard to keep up with him. The earplugs were a plus to listen to him, but sometimes you could not find him and had to...
