Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel/closest pick-up point in either Sandton or Rosebank and taken in an air-conditioned vehicle for a city sightseeing tour of Johannesburg and historical sightseeing tour to Soweto, South Africa's largest township. A professional English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.
This 'Rise to Freedom Tour’ combines the sightseeing tour of Soweto as well as a sightseeing tour of Johannesburg.

Join the freedom walk with your tour guide, dressed in costume and in character for a full day. Celebrate the local community’s success stories and be transported to a volatile Johannesburg filled with intrigue and drama, whilst learning about South Africa’s liberation. Highlights include visit Hector Pieterson Memorial, June 16th Memorial Acre, Walter Sisulu Freedom Square, Vilikazi Street in Soweto, visit a Soweto community project and entrance to Constitution Hill (if open)

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel/closest drop-off point.
