For your Johannesburg Walking Tour you will be collected from your hotel in the morning. An English-speaking guide will go with you on this excursion.
Visit the Gandhi Square and see the statue of a Mahatma Gandhi from his younger days, and artworks celebrating Johannesburg’s multicultural roots, before moving to the base of the Carlton Centre. You’ll ascend to the 50th floor to see stunning views of the city. This area is one of the city’s most exciting regions, so soak it all up while visiting some of the iconic sights.
You will hop in a local taxi to take us to the Mai Mai Traditional Healers Market. Once an old horse stable, the market now houses over 176 stalls carrying traditional medicines, African attire, beadwork, artefacts, walking sticks, and local crafts. It is a truly genuine place to support local artisans, heal physical or spiritual woes, and find something special to take back home.
After exploring the market, you will visit the Main Street to experience the atmosphere of daily life in Johannesburg.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
