This is the perfect evening out for a lover of history, art, music and food!
You'll receive a guided tour of the famous Church of Sant'Agnese, one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in Rome. You will learn about the history of the building and the art behind its architecture, before enjoying a concert in the church featuring the works of famous Baroque composers. The concert will be performed using period instruments, giving it a more authentic feel.
The evening ends with a delicious dinner at a traditional Roman restaurant.
Your Music in Bernini's Rome with Dinner tour will meet at the Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone, which is located in Piazza Navona. You'll start the evening with a tour of the church. Built in the 17th century and designed by famous architects (and artists) of the time such as Bernini, Rainaldi, and Borromini, the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone is considered to be one of the best examples of Baroque architecture. During your tour, you'll learn more about the architecture of the church, as well as the sculptures and other artwork it holds.
Once your tour is complete, you'll be treated to a musical concert in the church featuring music from famous 17th-century composers such as Caccini, Frescobaldi, and Monteverdi, performed using musical instruments of the Baroque age.
Your evening will end with dinner at Restaurant Zafferino, a traditional Roman restaurant. You'll have your choice of Rigatoni or Spaghetti for the first course, followed by Saltimbocca alla romana for the second course and delicious tiramisu for dessert!
