Enjoy a day amidst the azure waters and splendid beaches with the Full Day Cruise & Walk tour.
Take the Wilson's Abel Tasman vessel and sail off to Astrolabe Roadstead. On the way you will make a short stop to the beautiful Anchorage Beach and Torrent Bay before exploring the granite headlands and the forested islands.
You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Wilsons Abel Tasman office, 27 Bridge Street, Nelson. you will be taken to Kaiteriteri from where you will board the Wilson's Abel Tasman vessel to begin your Full Day Cruise & Walk tour.
Cruise past the golden caves sculpted granite headlands and forested islands of the Astrolabe Roadstead. Stop at Anchorage Beach and Torrent Bay and take in the beauty of the place. Then continue to Tonga Island Marine Reserve, where you will see the antics of the seal colony.
Continue along the remote northern beaches where nikau palms and native Rata (the South Island Christmas Tree) feature in the rainforest fringing the long golden beaches. Start your walking tour from Totaranui from where you will visit the historic Tonga Quarry cove to walk 2-2.5 hours (4.1km) over a forested saddle and around spectacular Bark Bay estuary with its cascading waterfalls.
You will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
