You will be picked up from your accommodation in Queenstown at around 07:00am for a full day tour of Milford sound with an approximate duration of 12½ hours.
Proceed towards Te Anau through journey along the edge of Lake Wakatipu, through Kingston and Mossburn, to Te Anau.
"The Key", an aptly named village, opens the door to the Fiordland National Park. Continue on through the Eglinton Valley to the Mirror Lakes, before following the "Avenue of the Disappearing Mountain", past Cascade Creek and Lake Gunn and on to The Divide.
Proceed through the Hollyford Valley to the Homer Tunnel (1.2km long), (drilled through the solid rock of a mountain) prepare yourself for the breathtaking impact of the Cleddau Valley and the descent into Milford Sound.
Upon arrival at Miford Sound, board a spectacular Milford Sound Red Boat Cruise.
Return to Te Anau by coach from where you will be dropped off to your accommodation in Queenstown.
