  • Overview & Itinerary

Prepare to be spell-bound by this magical masterpiece of musical theater. Thrill to the spectacle of Oz, re-created onstage and discover what happened in the enchanted land long before Dorothy came flying in. Find out the true stories of Glenda the Good Witch of the North and the Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West.

In a visually stunning and hilarious production, you’ll learn how these two girls, one blonde, bubbly and ambitious, the other green-skinned and unpopular became unlikely friends at sorcery school. Find out how they fulfilled their extraordinary destines and realise that perhaps Elphaba was not quite so wicked after all.

Eye-popping special effects include a smoke-breathing dragon, flying monkeys and Glenda arriving on stage on a bubble platform amidst thousands of floating bubbles.

Kids (age eight and above) love this musical but the story, with its sharp political satire, is one that adults can also take seriously. This is a show you will never want to end.

With your Wicked (Orchestra or Front Mezzanine Tickets), you are guaranteed a bewitching evening.

After settling into your seat in the Orchestra or Front Mezzanine, at the Gershwin Theatre, you’ll be enthralled by this untold story of the witches of Oz!

Wicked has thrilled audiences with its unique blend of story and music, and has won 35 major awards, including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards.
