  • Overview & Itinerary

    Overview

Hidden bays, turquoise waters and charming squares lined with cafes - a tour of the Mediterranean island of Capri is a great way to relax and enjoy the beauty of Italy. The Gardens of Augustus in Capri Island offer incredible views of the Faraglioni, limestone pinnacles. Anacapri is also popular with tourists for the Villa San Michele which houses Roman sculptures, and the panoramic views it offers of Capri Island.

Capri’s Piazzetta is often called the ‘drawing room of the world’ and a stroll in this picturesque square gives an idea of the Mediterranean charm of the island. Souvenir shopping and the balmy climate add to the relaxed atmosphere of this island and makes a tour of Capri a memorable experience.

    Itinerary

You will be picked up from the Star Hotel Terminus at 0800h (8:00am) for a trip to the beautiful Mediterranean Island of Capri. You will cross the Bay of Naples by boat and once on the island of Capri travel by coach accompanied by an English-speaking guide.

Arriving on the Island you will find yourself in Capri’s central square in the centre of the island. Often referred to as the “drawing room of the world”, this small square is designed to look like a unique outdoor drawing room and is lined with cafes, boutiques and nightclubs.

Your tour continues to the Faraglioni, limestone pinnacles which are famous for the rare blue lizard. The last stop on your morning guided tour is the Gardens of Augustus, here you will find an oasis of beautifully maintained Mediterranean flowers and from here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the limestone pinnacles in the sea.

Take a break for a light lunch at a local restaurant.

On the afternoon the tour continues to Anacapri, popular with tourists for the Villa San Michele. The house has Roman sculptures from the period when Tiberius ruled and is built on the site of a ruined Roman villa. You will have time at leisure to explore, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of Capri from here.
