Activity Overview

Visit the city of Agadir, one of the most popular attractions in Morocco. Stroll around the bustling port where local fishermen sell their catch. Learn about its history with a visit to the Museum of Arts and Popular Tradition with its displays of antique Berber jewellery, pottery, carpets, woodwork and other artefacts.

Be sure to visit the Swiss quarter, the shopping area, the carpet factory and the artisan quarter, where you can watch lace making, embroidery, and leatherwork and woodwork demonstrations. Experience the essence of Morocco on your tour of the attractions in Agadir.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel of stay in Agadir at 2:30pm. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will be taken on a guided tour of Agadir.

The tour begins with a visit to the derelict Kasbah perched high on a hilltop. From these early remains of Agadir you will enjoy fabulous views of the town and the bay. Next, visit the port and witness the large sardine fishing auctions.

Visit the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions, the Swiss quarter, the main shopping area of the city, the carpet factory and the artisan quarter and see demonstrations of lace-making, embroidery, leatherwork and woodwork.

If time permits, a brief visit to the souks can also be made. At the end of a splendid tour you will return to your hotel in Agadir.
