Itinerary

You will be picked up from your Ocho Rios hotel in a bus for this Canopy tour in Cranbrook Forest . You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide.

Drive to the mouth of the Cranbrook Flower Forest , where you’ll receive instruction from you English-speaking guide on the thrilling challenge ahead. Begin your tour with a nature walk along a newly blazed trail that takes you to the heart of the jungle.

Arrive at your first platform, which is nestled in the hillside overlooking the treetops.

Soar through the jungle canopy using an intricate system of harnesses, pulleys and carabines on horizontal traverses.

Arrive at the next cliffside platform—45 feet above the ground—and watch the tropical vegetation go rushing by as you glide between the trees like a bird of flight.

Another series of traverses ranging from 105-660 feet in length allow you to swing through the Laughlands River Gorge, a giant gulf carved by the patient hand of nature. Look down on the sparkling river that still flows through this yawning canyon. Survey the flora and fauna of the jungle while listening to a symphony of songbirds and rushing waters.

At different points in the tour you’ll even get a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea, which shimmers like a mirage in the distance. Learn interesting facts about the tree and plant life of the region from your guide.

The premier thrill of the afternoon comes when you leave the valley and embark on a series of long throws, which propel you as far as 600 feet to the next platform.

Remove your equipment and unwind from your exhilarating adventure with a leisurely walk through the flowering trees of Cranbrook.

You will be transferred back to your hotel via Chukka Cove Farm at tour’s end.
