The tour starts from Bar Kambusa at 0900h (09:00am). Accompanied by a guide you will be taken by coach to Naples to board the hydrofoil to the breathtakingly beautiful Island of Ischia.
You will be given some time to explore before being taken on an orientation of the main sights of the island. Ischia is a volcanic island dominated by Mount Epomeo. The historic city of Ischia, on the North East of the Island, is protected by the 15th century Ischia Castle, which is connected to the town by a narrow bridge.
The tour ends at Sant'Angelo. This sea-side village and fishing hamlet typifies island life. Until a few years ago, the only transport on the island were the donkeys, which carried people and their wares up and down the hills. Now the donkeys have been replaced by electric cars, thus maintaining the unspoilt air of the island.
You could visit Mortella Gardens. The Mortella Gardens are famous around the world for the large collection of rare and beautiful plants.
Re-board the coach for a tour of the rest of the Island, arriving back at the port for your return hydrofoil journey. From Naples, return to Bar Kambusa in Sorrento, arriving at around 1700h (5:00pm).
